Dudhsagar Waterfall located on Mandvi river near Goa-Karnataka border. word of DudhSagar means ‘sea of milk’. The waterfall is India’s fifth and 227th best beautifier of the world. It is extremely attractive and it is known as Sea of milk abroad. The waterfall is situated approximately 60 kilometers away from Panaji. The height of the waterfall is 310 meters and average width is 30 meters.

Nearest railway station to reach waterfall is Castle Railway Station. Visitors can catch the train from here and reply at Dudhsagar stop. The notable thing here is that Dudhsagar Rail Stop is not a station where the passengers can expect the platform. Passengers and tourists have to climb on a steep staircase and reach the railway compartment. Where it has undetermined stops of 1-2 minutes. Recently, Indian Railways has imposed restrictions on landing / landing of passengers at Dudhsagar railway station. There is neither clean drinking water or clean toilets around this spring. There are no signals of mobile at this location.
